ABC is an American broadcast television network owned by the Walt Disney Company, which started out as the radio network NBC Blue.

They currently have the rights to air A Charlie Brown Christmas, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, airing all three at least once on dates near their respective holidays. ABC acquired the rights to those specials in 2001 after they have aired on CBS for the previous 35 years.

ABC has also aired nearly all of the Peanuts specials that were produced after the death of Charles M. Schulz (Happiness Is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown aired on Fox instead). Two of these, A Charlie Brown Valentine and I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown, continue to air on ABC annually near those holidays. In recent years, ABC has aired other older specials as well, such as Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown, Charlie Brown's All-Stars and Happy New Year, Charlie Brown!.
