All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd., also known as Zennikkū or ANA, is the largest airline in Japan. It has 20,000 employees. Its headquarters are located at Shiodome City Center in the Shiodome area of Minato, Tokyo, Japan. All Nippon Airways flies to destinations around Japan as well as to other destinations in Asia, North America, Europe and Australia. Its main international hubs are Narita International Airport (outside Tokyo) and Kansai International Airport (outside Osaka).
The company was founded in March 1958 when the two airlines Japan Helicopter and Aeroplane and Far Eastern Airlines merged.
Subsidiaries of All Nippon Airways include the freight carrier Allex Cargo, the regional airline ANA Wings, the charter carrier Air Japan, the low-cost domestic airline Air Do and the low-cost international airline Vanilla Air. All Nippon Airways is the largest shareholder in the low-cost international airline Peach.
