Larry is in Sally's class, and appears to know very little about the Bible, for instance, thinking that The Great Gatsby split the Sea of Galilee. Sally is eventually so fed up with Larry's stupid comments, that she kicks him out of her class. She is then shocked to find out the next day that Larry is the minister's son.
The next day, Larry comes to apoligize to Sally for distrupting the class. He then reveals to Sally that he has fallen in love with her. Sally forgives him and invites him into her house. In the end, when Larry leaves. Sally tells him that she will think of him.
