Phineas and Ferb is an American animated television series that aired on the Disney Channel and later Disney XD, originally running from February 2008 to June 2015.
The show is about two young stepbrothers who turn their dreams into reality every day. Their teenage sister is jealous and tries to get them in trouble. Meanwhile, an evil but weird scientist, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, tries to wreak havoc and only the two boys' pet platypus Perry, A.K.A Agent P., can stop him.
Reference to Peanuts
- During the end credits of the episode "Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation!" the cast dance the same way the children do in A Charlie Brown Christmas.
- In the episode "Oh, There You Are, Perry" when Perry is reassigned a nemesis, and has to move away from Phineas and Ferb, there are some possible allusions to the Peanuts movie, Snoopy Come Home. When both Perry and Snoopy leave their homes, they seem unhappy about it, and they both take their supper dishes along with them. Also, at the end, everybody sings before the pet comes home, for Snoopy it is "Charlie Brown's Calliope" and for Perry it is the song "Come Home, Perry". Also, when the pet returns, everybody runs up to hug him. This however appears to be more of a coincidence.
- In the episode "Bully Bromance Breakup", during the song, "Hole in My Heart" while Buford and Baljeet are remembering all the good times they had together, an image of Buford pulling away a football from Baljeet is shown, an obvious reference to the football gag Lucy pulls on Charlie Brown every year.
