Ask for a comic strip[]

Hi, I'm here to ask for a comic strip about Lucy. Lucy was playing chess with Charlie Brown and Schroeder, then she lost the game. So Lucy turned angry, and she used a stick to hit the chess table. At last, Lucy gone, and the chess table was seen hollowed in the middle. Both Charlie Brown and Schroeder were in a shock. The comic strip was painted at early to mid-time, and I guess it was painted before Peppermint Patty's first appearance. Anyone have this comic strip? Please let me know if you have. Thank you. I know which one you are talking about. I remember it. I just can't put my finger on the date of that strip. All I remember is that it was the earlier strip days, in about 1953, or 1954, when Lucy was developing characteristics. I'll let you know if I remember the exact date. • I checked this morning, and neither 1953 nor 1954 did the strip appear.Sroczynski 05:52, June 4, 2011 (UTC)
    • I just finished 1955, and the strip wans't in that year either.Sroczynski 09:38, June 4, 2011 (UTC)
    • Are you sure its a Chess board-I remember a that it was a toy pool table with Charlie Brown and Schroeder and that its Lucy who hits the board so hard with a pool cue that it bends in the middle!

Ages of Characters[]

Is it possible to discuss inclusion of birthdates, as per my blog post,

"I disagree with the age of characters being based on their debut. Granted it is true with Sally and Rerun, who were born into the strip in 1959 and 1971 respectively. But the real ages are based 1946-1952ish. Charlie Brown, Lucy, Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Franklin- they are all about the same age. According to references in the early strip, they would all be born in 1946. (A year before the debut). Works out. Snoopy should be approximately late-46 or early 47. Violet, Shermy and Patty? Probably being that they are the oldest, they were born 1944-45.Linus was born about 1950-51, as he makes his debut later after Lucy in 52. Schroeder is the same age as he. The Goose Eggs were all born in the 70s, and Woodstock would be 1963-64.So my point is, at this day, 2023, assuming so, all the original characters would be in their late-70s going into early 80s. The newer characters are in their 50s-60s. (Sally is 56, Rerun 52). Snoopy can't be alive after 80 years, when did he die? (determining no in regards to his legacy).

  • One response stated that the ages of Charlie Brown and Lucy were in 1992, being that they were 8 in 2000. This however contradicts the previous 5 decades.
    • Also, One could argue the Li'l Folks characters were separate. I disagree. They are just as canon as the rest, as they were adapted into the strip. Therefore, the older characters were born in the 40s.
      • I may not have taken into account some one-strip references, but I digress on this. The essence is there. We follow these guys throughout most of their lives, getting to know and love them. They are like seasoned and talented actors who will live as legends forever."

-I believe it has possibility.

Changing name of article[]

Can somebody change "Lucy van Pelt" into "Lucy Van Pelt" soon?
