"The School of Hard Knocks" (originally called "A rude école") is the nineteenth episode of the first season of the 2014 French TV series Peanuts produced by Normaal animation and based on the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz. It will air in the USA on May 20, 2016. The episode tells the story of Peppermint Patty going to an obedience school recommended by Snoopy.
The episode is based on strips from September and October 1976, which were also adapted for the 1982 TV special A Charlie Brown Celebration.
Plot
Peppermint Patty wants to go to a private school. Snoopy recommends an obedience school. Peppermint Patty enjoys her new education but Charlie Brown worries she is going to find out it is not real. Peppermint Patty graduates and Charlie Brown struggles to tell her the truth. Snoopy as Peppermint Patty's lawyer tries to help her get back into school.
