The World Famous Crabby Skating Pro is one of Snoopy's alter-egos introduced to Peanuts comic strips

on November 7, 1974.

Dressed in a fur hat and heavy coat, Snoopy is shown acting as a figure skating instructor during a lengthy storyline in which Peppermint Patty practices for a figure skating competition.

Snoopy is shown watching Peppermint Patty practice in several strips during this storyline, offering feedback by barking, or saying "bleah."

At the end of the storyline, on December 7, 1974, Peppermint Patty tells Snoopy that she lacks the money to pay him for his services, and gives him her wig instead.

Snoopy also appears as Peppermint Patty's bad tempered skating coach in the Sunday strip from January 11, 1976 and a series of strips from January 1978, although no name is given to the dog's alter-ego in those strips.

The 1980 TV special She's a Good Skate, Charlie Brown, which is based on the storyline from the November and December 1974 comic strips, also depicts Snoopy as Peppermint Patty's ice skating coach, although again the beagle is not specifically named as "the World Famous Crabby Skating Pro" in the special.

This alter-ego appears to be unrelated to the World Famous Skater, a name which Snoopy gives himself in December 1971.
